Mr. Reliable

Like clockwork, Fordham counted on George E. Doty, the man who gave more consistently than anyone in the University’s history. Every year from 1957 until his death in 2012, at the age of 94, Doty, a former chair of the Board of Trustees and managing partner of Goldman Sachs, lent his support to Fordham. His gifts have bolstered several University initiatives.

Batter Up

Fordham baseball has won more games than any other Division I program in the country. James J. Houlihan, GSB '74, earned seven of the team's 4,000-plus victories during three seasons on the mound for the Rams in the early 1970s.

His record as a dedicated alumnus, though, is even more impressive.
