The son of Italian immigrants, Thomas Lamberti, FCRH ’52, grew up with strong regard for the power of education. The Putney, Twombly, Hall & Hirson partner experienced firsthand the difference a world-class education can make. His story embodies the American dream.
Establishing an endowed scholarship at Fordham has allowed him to provide access to that dream for others.
Fordham's endowed scholarships open doors to educational opportunities that fundamentally change the lives of hundreds of students every year.
Seeing the impact of their generosity, donors say, is an immensely gratifying experience.
"To meet the recipients of the scholarship and to talk to them gives you a great sense of gratification and satisfaction," said Lamberti, who has met several students who've benefited from the Thomas M. Lamberti Endowed Scholarship at Fordham’s annual Scholarship Donors and Recipients Reception.
"One of the recipients of the scholarship is pursuing a career in medicine. That would fulfill my mother's dream,” he said. "She always wanted a doctor in the family."
