Archbishop Desmond Tutu Delights
Audience at University Church

Archbishop Desmond Tutu delighted a standing-room-only audience in the University Church with a powerful and humorous speech on Feb. 23. Archbishop Tutu, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his tireless efforts to end apartheid in his native South Africa, was on campus to receive an honorary doctorate of humane letters.

Lincoln Center Master Plan Unveiled

Fordham announced a proposed multi-year, $1 billion master plan to add 1.5-million square feet of academic, student activities and dormitory space at the Lincoln Center campus. Fordham has spent eight years developing the plan, which must still be approved by the city.
