Schools Chancellor

A former Queens kindergarten teacher and Harlem social worker, Dennis Walcott, GSS '80, is now in charge of the nation's largest school district, with 1.1 million students and 135,000 employees.

When it comes to serving the city, Fordham's graduate school of education is walking the walk, not only by preparing professionals but also by helping to run 31 schools.
