University Memorial Service for Lawrence Sacharow

A memorial service will be held for Lawrence J. Sacharow, director of the theatre program at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, on Thursday, September 14, at 3:30 p.m. in the Pope Auditorium, Lowenstein Center, Lincoln Center campus. Among the speakers at the service will be Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham University; Lawrence Sacharow’s daughter, Anya Sacharow; playwright Edward Albee; Buddhist scholar Robert Thurman; actress Marian Seldes; actress Didi O'Connell; Matthew Maguire, professor of theatre and acting director of the theatre program; and Fordham Theatre alumni Colin Hodges (FCLC ’98), and Mike Kimmel (FCLC ’99). Sacharow died Monday, August 14, at New York Hospital of complications from leukemia. He was 68.
