NEW YORK—Fordham will host a lecture and book signing by Sander A. Flaum and Jonathon A. Flaum, co-authors of The 100-Mile Walk: A Father and Son on a Quest to Find the Essence of Leadership (Amacom Books, 2006), on Tuesday, March 21 at 6 p.m., in the McNally Amphitheatre, 140 West 62nd Street, Lincoln Center campus. The event, part of the Fordham Business Lecture Series, is sponsored by the Hazen Polsky Foundation. All in attendance will receive a signed complimentary copy of the book.

Sander A. Flaum, chief executive of Flaum Partners Inc., is an adjunct professor of management at Fordham’s Graduate School of Business Administration and the founder and chair of the Fordham Leadership Forum. He co-wrote The 100-Mile Walk comparing two generations of leadership styles with his son, Jonathon, the 36-year-old CEO of WriteMind Communications. They will discuss old versus new leadership paradigms, such as competition vs. collaboration, top-down management versus collaboration and innovation from all levels, and changing attitudes toward women and corporate responsibility. The event is free and open to the public.
