Mass Commemorates Marymount's Founder's Day

NEW YORK —Commemorating Marymount's Founder's Day, Patrick Ryan, S.J., vice president for mission and ministry at Fordham University, and Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham University, celebrated Mass in Butler Chapel on Dec. 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception.

During the Mass, the College presented gifts donated for the campus Giving Tree to the R.S.H.M. Life Center to benefit more than 200 children from disadvantaged homes in the community.

Following the Mass, alumnae, administrators, faculty, members of the R.S.H.M. and other guests mingled at a holiday reception in Butler Parlors.
