Karina Everett’s research examines the intersection of intimacy and secrecy in portrayals of domestic workers in Victorian novels to demonstrate how servants’ labor takes on a new meaning in this particular period. In addition to her research on Victorian literature, her interdisciplinary interests include labor and social relations and gender.
