2014-2015 POL Prizes Deadline: November 10, 2014
Submissions open September 5, 2014

 Contest is open to poets with or without previous book-length publication

Volumes by two winners will be published by Fordham University Press:

1) POL Prize, selected by Prize Judge
2) Editor's Prize, selected by POL Prizes Series Editor

Both authors will receive $1,000 and a book launch in the POL Reading Series

POL Prize, selected by Kimiko Hahn

Daneen Wardrop is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and the Robert H. Winner Award from the Poetry Society of America. Her work has appeared in the Kenyon Review, Iowa Review, AGNI, Virginia Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. She has authored a book of poems, The Odds of Being, from Silverfish Review Press, and three books of literary criticism, most recently Emily Dickinson and the Labor of Clothing, from University Press of New England.

Terrence Chiusano received his BA in poetry writing from the University of Pittsburgh and his MA in literature from the University at Buffalo. Some of his poems have appeared in Colorado Review, Cordite Poetry Review, Yellow Field, Kenning, Ixnay, Queen Street Quarterly, Mirage #4/Period(ical), Can We Have Our Ball Back? and elsewhere. He lives in Pittsburgh PA.
